Urinary Symptoms
At GPHW, we are able to identify our patients’ urinary problems by understanding the following symptoms:
- Frequency (urinating more than 8 times a day)
- Urgency (sudden urge to urinate)
- Nocturia (getting up in the night to urinate)
- Hematuria (blood in the urine)
- Incontinence (leaking of urine)
Possible Urinary Conditions
There are many conditions that cause the symptoms listed above, and most can be managed. Some of the most common conditions are:
- Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
- Overactive bladdar (OAB)
- Stress urinary incontinence
- Urge incontinence
- Mixed urinary incontinence
- Interstitial Cystitis
