What to expect
Depending upon your doctor’s recommendations and your individual health profile, there are a number of health screening options available at Gwinnett’s Progressive Healthcare for Women. In order to decide which services will be best for each patient, the team will first develop a complete health profile based on your full medical history. After your doctor has your full health profile, the team will make informed decisions about services that will best aid your health.
Some of these services may include but are not limited to:
- Breast cancer screening
- Colon cancer screening
- Cervical cancer screening
- Sexually transmitted disease screening
- Osteoporosis screening
- Contraceptive counseling and management
- HPV vaccination – Gardasil
- Lifestyle/behavior modification counseling
- Referral to other health professionals
